Burkina Faso’s Prime Minister And His Entire cabinet Resigns

Burkina Faso has been hit with a massive cabinet resignation after report revealed that the country’s Prime Minister Paul Kaba Thieba and his entire cabinet has resigned. According to reports, no reason was given for the move, which was announced via a televised statement by the country’s president. Thieba was appointed in January 2016 after he was nominated by President Roch Marc Christian Kabore. His resignation is coming following the recent high-profile disappearances of foreign nationals in the country. President Kabore in his statement thanked them for their service and said he hoped to form a new government soon. Photo Credit: Getty
