The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed has reacted to the current outcry by the public requesting that President Muhammadu Buhari should give a state address as a national recourse on the recent outbreak of coronavirus in the country. 
The Minister Of Information Lai Mohammed stressed that the President will the nation when the time is right, while trying to make it clear that he wasn’t trying to preempt the president nor second guess him rather whatever the public stands to hear from the president is what those in charge of the situations are already doing. He told newsmen that President Buhari will address the nation at the right time.
Lai said;
“When it is appropriate, Mr President will address the nation. But, I think what you want to hear from Mr President are the kind of things we are telling you.
“This is not to preempt or second guess Mr President, I think he will do the needful.”
