President Buhari seem to have swiftly recovered from the tragic feeling that reigned in almost all corners of the country after the gruesome murder of over 80 people in Plateau state, as he visited Calabar on Tuesday to commission a rice factory.
I can't even move freely again in Calabar, road block everywhere because Buhari is in town. I've spent over 30 minutes in this cab for a city that traffic jam is almost unknown.

Several social media reports revealed that the President’s visit caused a massive transport disaster as many roads were blocked for security reasons.
Over a hundred people were killed in Plateau 'cos of ódìndìn 300 cows, but your President said nothing. Instead, he's busy blocking roads and shutting down economic activities in Calabar 'cos he's coming into town. #ThisIsNigeria

Speaking at the rice commissioning project on Tuesday, President Buhari said the Federal Government is committed to boosting Nigeria’s economy through Agricultural revolution and is already recording progress.
He said: “When we assumed the reins of leadership of our dear country, this administration launched a zero oil economic roadmap as a way of making our country less dependent on oil while encouraging investment in other sectors of the economy, particularly agriculture. Indeed this factory speaks loudly about the giant strides we are making in agriculture as a country. This monumental project for which we are gathered here today is a marvel to behold.”
