President Muhammadu Buhari is attending an event to award former president Goodluck Jonathan and 43 other prominent Nigerians.
The ongoing event is taking place in the Conference room of the Presidential Villa, Abuja. The awards will also see 16 state governors, including Nyesom Wike of Rivers State; Senate President, Ahmad Lawan; Speaker of House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, and service chiefs honoured with various awards for their services.
In other news, Buhari will be unveiling the manifesto and policy document of the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress candidate (APC), Aswaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu today in the nation’s capital, Abuja.

The occasion is scheduled to take place at the State House in Abuja and will also see Buhari inaugurate the APC Campaign Council.
This was contained in a statement issued to newsmen by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Lagos State, Gboyega Akosile.

Recall spokesman of the APC Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), Festus Keyamo, had earlier said the draft manifesto was presented by Tinubu to the organs of the party and that it got 90 per cent pass from most of the people that attended the closed-door meeting.
