Buhari Begs Kaduna Voters As PDP, Labour Party Forge Alliance

President Muhammadu Buhari has made a passionate appeal to voters in Kaduna not to abandon the All Progressives Congress, APC in the wake of reported moves by the Labour Party and Peoples Democratic Party, PDP to forge an alliance against the APC in the state.

The president made the appeal in the wake of the APC’s poor performance in the presidential and National Assembly elections that saw the PDP winning the presidential and all three Senate seats.

KOKO TV reports that ahead of the governorship and state legislative elections that the PDP and Labour are reported to be forging an alliance against the APC.

Speaking in the wake of the alleged plans, Buhari in a viral video has appealed to voters in the state not to abandon the APC because of the naira redesign policy and other policies of his administration that may have caused problems for the citizenry.

While urging voters to back Senator Uba Sani, the APC governorship candidate, Buhari in the viral video, said:

“First of all, I want to once again thank you for the confidence you have in me by electing me president on the platform of our party, the APC.

”I want to use this opportunity to inform you that Uba Sani is our candidate for the governorship election in Kaduna State. I am begging you to vote for him and all APC candidates for the House of Assembly to help him work.
