Brooklyn Beckham has announced he has asked his girlfriend to marry him.
The 21-year-old announced his engagement to American actress Nicola Peltz on Saturday afternoon after rumours circulated.
Brooklyn, the eldest son of David and Victoria, put an end to the speculation with a post to his 12m Instagram followers.

Alongside a stunning picture of the posing pair, showing off Nicola’s huge sparkler, he said: “Two weeks ago I asked my soulmate to marry me and she said yes xx. I am the luckiest man in the world. I promise to be the best husband and the best daddy one day.” He ended the post: “I love you baby xx”
Nicola also shared the image and wrote to her husband-to-be and revealed the photographer behind the engagement snap. The 25-year-old said: “You’ve made me the luckiest girl in the world. I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life by your side. Your love is the most precious gift. I love you so so much baby and thank you Harper for this pic.”
And of course proud mum Victoria has had her say. Sharing the same image, former Spice Girls Victoria said: “The MOST exciting news!! We could not be happier that @brooklynbeckham and @nicolaannepeltz are getting married! Wishing you so much love and a lifetime of happiness. We all love you both so much x”
Nicola is the daughter of American billionaire Nelson Peltz, and has starred in the Transformers film series. Photographer Brooklyn and Nicola have been dating for seven months after revealing their relationship in January by posting a black-and-white picture of themselves.
