Olisa Metuh Collapses In Abuja High Court

The former National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, Mr. Olisa Metuh, collapsed on Monday morning, while walking to the dock for his corruption trial at the Federal High Court in Abuja.
The former PDP chieftain is being prosecuted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission for the N400 million he received fraudulently from the Office of the National Security Adviser in 2014.

According to Punch Newspapers, the incident happened shortly after the trial started at 9:01 am. The judge, Justice Okon Abang, had to stand down the matter to enable medical officials to attend to the defendant.
Unsurprisingly, Metuh’s medical collapse is coming shortly after Dino Melaye successfully evaded a court case for health related reasons.
