Traders are in tears as a fire outbreak destroys properties worth millions of Naira in the Balogun market, Lagos.
In a viral video posted from the scene of the incident, smoke was seen coming from a building and people were wailing.

At the time of reporting no specific reason for the cause of the incident. Some sources at the scene of the fire outbreak said that goods and properties worth millions of naira were consumed by the fire outbreak.

Balogun market is situated on the island part of Lagos and it’s famous for the sale of fabrics and household items.

The cause of the fire outbreak has not been revealed but the Lagos state government confirmed the incident and said an investigation on the cause of the fire has been launched.
