At least eight people have been confirmed dead in another American high school shooting in Texas on Thursday.
Local authorities confirmed that one person is currently in custody after a shooting spree suddenly started at the Santa Fe High School.
According to BBC, the school authorities has confirmed that several people were injured in an “active shooter” incident on Thursday afternoon..
Police authorities are yet to confirm if the attacker was a student of the school. Local media authorities reported that the shooting began shortly after the fire alarm went off. The strategy of the killer instantly remind the general populace of the Ash Wednesday killing spree that also started with a fire alarm. But unlike Ash Wednesday shooting, the Santa Fe killer also shot at policemen when they tried to enter the school.
