Bello Bala Shagari, a youth activist and the grandson of former Nigerian Prime Minister Shehu Shagari has spoken on the calls for the disintegration of Nigeria, noting that it is unjust to those who lost their lives in the civil war.
The documentary filmmaker and the President of The National Youth Council of Nigeria took to the streets of Twitter to give his opinion, stating that people need to start seeing the bigger picture of the country and stop being myopic for mere sentimental & political scores.Calling For The Break Up In Nigeria Is Unjust To Those Who Died In The Civil War - Shehu Shagari's Grandson
He further stated that whoever thinks the Giant of Africa is not working simply because it is united is one of the causes for believing, living, and advocating for disintegration. He cited Germany which was once separated as an example to state that separation makes a nation weaker to support imperialist ideas, divide & conquer.
