Ace Nigerian comedian and actor Bovi has slammed a troll who depicted him as a slave for allowing his son speak his native language.
It all started after Bovi posted a video showing the hilarious moment he said to his son, “Chuchu how far na”, and the son replied in pidgin, “I dey ooo”. The response got a lot of followers amused as they hailed his son. However, one follower, with the username, repfrica, did not find it amusing.

The follower called out the comedian for being proud that his son can speak his native language. According to him, it depicts mental slavery. Bovi responded by calling him a fool.

He wrote Is only in Africa a father will be proud Cous his child can speak his native language. We are still slaves mentally. Then the comedian replied @repfrica and you write this in English. What a fool. See screenshot below;
