Media personality Bolanle Olukanni has addressed the pressure on brides who disinvite their female friends from their wedding because of their stunning outfits. The TV personality took to her Instagram page 5to address the issue reacting to a post from social media.
In a post, a lady had warned friends not to be extravagant at her wedding as she will not take it and would send the guest back home. Bolanle reacting to this shared that a bride being concerned about anyone looking better than her on her wedding day is a sign of gross insecurity. She noted that she cannot be oppressed by anyone dressing better than her at her wedding because it’s her special day and anyone in attendance will be a close friend.
