It’s Been A Very Hard And Tough Time For Me, Losing My Mum – Okon Lagos

Comic actor, Imeh Bishop, popularly known as Okon Lagos, has stated that battling with his mother’s death has been a very hard and tough time for him.

The Nollywood star took to his Instagram page on Tuesday to appreciate fans and colleagues for reaching out to him, adding that their efforts are helping his healing process.

He said, “Losing a loved one to death, especially a mother, is very painful. It’s been a very hard and tough time for me, but I thank God for God and thank God for you. Your calls, messages, and prayers are helping in taking baby steps and strides to healing. Thank you and God bless you all.”

Bishop added, “Thank you, and please don’t stop praying for us.”

The actor had announced his mother’s death on Saturday via his Instagram handle.

Expressing his feelings concerning the news, he wrote, “You could have just waited just a bit. I am depleted and numb. It’s my own mother. I’ve lost her.”

At the news, colleagues and fans of the actor had taken to his comment session to sympathise with him over his loss.
