Boko Haram Insurgents Strike Again, Wreck Auno In Borno State

Boko Haram insurgents have reportedly launched a fresh attack on Auno community in Borno State, abducting a number of women and children.
The insurgents were said to have invaded the community which is about 5km away from the International Airport and the Nigerian Airforce Base around 9:45 pm, and operated till 1 am.Auno: Boko Haram Insurgents Strike, Kindap Women, Children As seen in pictures which are flying all over the social media space, the terrorists also burnt houses, car and some other properties belonging to the residents. Reports also have it that the commuters were denied access into the Maiduguri yesterday as they arrived Auno around 6:05pm and the road was closed already by 6pm. This left people wondering how the insurgents made way into the community located on Damaturu -Maiduguri highway.

Tweeps have taken to the streets of Twitter to commiserate over the bad incidence, calling on the government to proffer a lasting solution to the insurgency and insecurity in the country.
