As she covers Billboard’s latest issue themed Africa Now with colleagues Davido and Mr Eazi, Tiwa Savage has lent her voce for the African women who are still being stereotyped to house chores and full time housewifery.
The songstress took to Instagram to share pictures from the shoot, noting that African women are limited and still believed to be submissive and stay at home.
Accepting that submissiveness and being a wife and mothers are great values and morals to keep, Tiwa Savage believes that African woman can do that and at the same time be great at whatever she choses to do aside being a wife and mom. Read also: Shekpe! Davido’s Fall Certified Gold In Canada
“A lot of people in Africa still have the idea that a woman has to be submissive, stay at home and be the wife and mother. Don’t get me wrong. Those are great morals to keep.
