Activist and social commentator, Reno Omokri has queried the former U.S President, Barack Obama, who he says is and has never been sympathetic towards the plight of black people.
Taking to his Twitter page, he wrote that the former president was more concerned about members of the LQBTQ society than black people in his country.
“Dear @BarackObama, #BlackLivesMatter was formed in 2013, while you were still President. What exactly did you do to make Black Lives Matter? And why are you now expecting @RealDonaldTrump to do what you refused to do? After all you made Gay Lives Matter!”
He wrote also “Dear @BarackObama, In June 2009, you gave gay partners same benefits as married partners. In Feb 2011 you threw your weight behind Gay Marriage. If you had used your powers for #BlackLivesMatter like you did for Gays maybe George Floyd wouldn’t have died.”
