The first Nigerian gay man to appear on Nigerian national television Bisi Alimi has revealed how he fired his private attorney for some derogatory posts he made about him some years back.
Bisi Alimi said this in a tweet, noting that he had received information about the posts on social media as people who write find it easy to do but forget there are people who keep receipts.
“Today I had to fire a lawyer I employed as my private attorney in Nigeria after I received information that the said person has written deformatory posts about me on social media. It so easy to write things online forgetting some people might be keeping the receipt.”

Reacting to replies which hopes the sacked attorney changes, Bisi Alimi wrote, “I hope he will do the needful but I doubt it as he might be kicked out of the group. It is actually sad because many of the gay men in that Facebook group are people I call friends and have helped many times. Why are we like this?“
