‘We Are A Big Club, But We Need More Help From The Coaches’…Arsenal Star Wants Arsene Wenger To Quit

It is been reported that one Arsenal player almost cried during an emotional crisis meeting held after the side’s Carabao Cup final thumping at the hands of Manchester City.Arsene Wenger’s position is in serious doubt following two defeats in five days to City and the club are seriously considering replacing the Frenchman in the summer. It’s understood Per Mertesacker led a player meeting without Wenger at London Colney following the first 3-0 defeat to Pep Guardiola’s side. And, according to The Guardian, an unnamed Arsenal star was close to tears as he delivered an impassioned speech which he was unable to finish.He reportedly claimed that his children had been asking why Arsenal had been so poor before choking up – another player was forced to step in. ‘We are a big club. But we need more help from the coaches,’ he said. Another exclaimed: ‘It’s not going to happen. We need to find the answers ourselves.’ Leonardo Jardim, Joachim Low, Carlo Ancelotti and Brendan Rodgers are among the candidates being considered to replace Wenger at the Emirates.Photo Credit: Getty
