Beyoncé Sets New YouTube Record With Coachella Performance

Beychella keeps making history!

Beyonce became the first woman of color to headline the Coachella music festival in Indio, California.
The 105-minute set on Saturday with 458,000 simultaneous global viewers gathered 43.1 million live stream views in 232 countries to become the most-viewed live music festival ever on YouTube.

Eminem, Migos, The Weeknd, Jay Z, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams were among the list of artistes that shared the stage with Queen Bey at the opening weeken.
Lady Gaga’s 2017 Coachella performance had 24.5 million live views, while this year’s streams is 75% higher, the most ever for a single Coachella performance since they started the festival 8 years ago.

Lady Gaga stepped in as replacement for Queen Bey at last year’s festival, following doctor’s orders because she was pregnant with twins at the time. She and her husband, rapper Jay-Z, welcomed Rumi and Sir Carter last June.
