Grammy award-winning singer Billie Eilish and singer Beyonce has been announced as part of the performers for the 2022 Oscar award on the 27th of March,2022. The singers would perform their Oscar-nominated songs live at this year’s Academy Awards ceremony.
Beyoncé would be singing “Be Alive,” a song she co-wrote for the movie “King Richard” about the father of tennis legends, Venus and Serena Williams, at the film honors on Sunday. Sebastián Yatra will also perform the Encanto song “Dos Oruguitas,” while Reba McEntire will perform the Diane Warren–penned song from Four Good Days, “Somehow You Do.” Van Morrison will not be able to perform his song from Belfast, “Down to Joy,” due to his tour schedule.
The performers join D-Nice and the Samples on the program, which will also feature an “all-star” band of Travis Barker, Sheila E., Robert Glasper, and music director Adam Blackstone. It happens on Sunday, March 27, at 8 p.m. Beyoncé and Eilish are also nominated for their first Academy Awards this year, with both women nominated for Best Original Song. “No Time to Die” has already earned Eilish and Finneas a Grammy and a Golden Globe. Beyoncé’s “Be Alive” was also nominated for a Golden Globe.
