Gov’s El-Rufai’s Son, Bello El-Rufai Apologises For Threatening To “Gang Rape” The Mother Of A Twitter User

Bello El-Rufai, the son Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has taken to Twitter to tender an apology for his actions days after threatening to pass the mother of a twitter user around among his friends, with the threat of “gang rape” her. Bello El-Rufai

On Sunday, April 12th 2020, Bello El-Rufai, in a series of tweets Bello lashed out at a Twitter user, using some ethnic slurs. Bello got into the fracas with the Twitter users due to his post where he criticised the American president Donald Trump, comparing him with President Muhammadu Buhari’s leadership skills and his ability to manage crises, especially during this Coronavirus pandemic.

Bello’s tweet reads;

“Tell your mother I’m passing her to my friends tonight.” he had written in a direct message

Following the huge backlash he received from many Nigerians, and after his mum who initially supported him, backtracked and apologized, Bello has now seen reason and has offered an apology for his tweets, He also apologised for attacking an ”entire ethnic group” during his Twitter rant on Sunday.
