LGBTQ activist Bisi Alimi has lamented about the difficulties of being a Gay man and also being Nigerian. He explained that bearing these two identities is emotionally draining as he is always on the edge in his interaction with the people.

In a series of Insta stories shared on social media, he explained that he cannot promote his friend’s business without people judging them and questioning their sexuality. He said he can’t wish his friends happy birthday, take photos with them because he can ruin their day as many accusing fingers will be pointed at them.

Bisi shared that everyday people condemn and have an opinion about his beautiful life and they make him second guess his choices and options. He shared that there are a lot of homophobes in the country who hide under the guise of opinion to show off their hatred and bash him heavily.
