Popular standup Nigerian Comedian, Godwin Komone who is popularly known as Gordons, in a recent outburst alleges that the “Begging” industry is the biggest and most profitable industry in Nigeria. 
The popular comic took to his Instagram handle in n outburst complaining about the sheer number of child-beggers on the streets. He said he met a little girl who was begging and he tried to adopt her only for the girl’s parent to fight and reject his offer profusely.
He said he picked an interest in the situation and he did more research about the begging community and his findings left him astounded, making him declare that the begging industry is the biggest industry and the most profitable in Nigeria.
In his research, Gordons said he found out that most of these children on the streets are trained to beg for money and even crippled are hired to beg as a source of livelihood for themselves and others.
The comedian went on to urge the appropriate authorities to look into this matter as it paints a bad image for the country.
