Sunburn causes a slight redness and tenderness to the affected areas of the body for the minority, blistering can also occur in more serious cases which may lead to the requirement of a doctor.

Sunburn can vary from mild to severe, many of us keep exposing our skin to the sun burning rays despite us knowing the sequences.  it is the term for red, sometimes swollen, and painful skin caused by overexposure to ultraviolet (UV) rays from the sun and happens to be a serious risk factor for skin cancer.
Fever, chills, weakness, nausea and vomiting are various symptoms of sunburn. Check out some ways of preventing sunburn.
1. Sit in locations with shade: Sitting in a location with shades helps prevent your body skin from burning and exposing it to the sun.
2. Wear a wide-brimmed hat: It helps provide sun protection to the face, head, ears and neck.
3. Protect the eyes with sunglasses: Sunglasses provide a strong protective barrier against dust, debris, sparks, and heat.
4. Avoid going out in the hottest part of the day: The hottest part of the day begins from 10am-4pm. During these hours, you are advised to limit your movement or stay in-door till sunset. 
5. Always wear sunblock and reapply regularly: Sunblock helps in decreasing the risk of developing deadly cancer, keep you looking young and helps the skin tone even more.
