Co-convener of the BringBackOurGirls advocacy group, Aisha Yesufu celebrated her 20th wedding anniversary with husband, on April 17, 2018.
“I was told i won’t last in husband’s house because I had a big mouth & hated housework,” the activist said. “When he proposed I told him I hated housework & was always sick. The big mouth he knew of. The first day, he said maybe he would come visiting & I told him I don’t do maybes.”
Aisha recently reacted to Buhari’s claim that “wicked people kept Nigerians poor,” saying the president only more on his personal issues.
“President Muhammadu Buhari is one of those wicked people that kept HIS people poor,” she tweeted. “Never for once did I hear his voice on issues of education, immunisation, almajiri, girl brides.
“He focused coldly on himself. These might not readily give him votes if addressed,”
