BBNaija Maria has also dragged BBNaija star Pere on social media over his tweet on flying and the refusal of Nigerians to turn off their phones on flights. The TV personality and ex-flight attendant stated that nothing will happen when people refuse to turn off their phones during a flight.
Maria shared that she was a flight attendant for 6 years and she also has a certification in Basic pilot flight so as an experienced individual in the flying and airline business she is assuring Nigerians that nothing will happen if they refuse to turn off their phones in any stage of flying wether at the takeoff, cruising or landing stage.

The actor had taken to his Twitter account to advise Nigerians to always obey the instructions of flight crews, whenever they were asked to switch their phones off. He added that their safety is paramount and that whatever they intended to use the phone for, can be done when the plane takes off or lands.
