Ayo Makun Advises On How To Trust Again After Being Betrayed

Stand up comedian Ayo Makun popularly known as AY has shared a few words on how to treat people who have betrayed us and trust them again.
Taking to Instagram, the actor and comedian noted the basic fact that trust is the basis of every human relationship is trust adding that people, however, make the mistake of trusting too easily. He noted further that it is hard to tell who’s got one’s back and no amount of goodness will make people loyal to or value the other person.
Advising on how best to get over hurts, betrayals and trust again, Ayo Makun stated that one need not stress over the shady betrayer but instead see the betrayal as a gift.
“Trust is the basis around which all human relationships revolve. Sometimes it comes naturally or earned within a given period. But one mistake that most of us make till date is in trusting people easily.  It’s just so hard these days to tell who has your back, from those who has it long enough to stab you.
Today we live in a world where you cannot controls someone’s loyalty. No matter how good you are to them, doesn’t mean that they will treat you the same. No matter how much they mean to you, doesn’t mean that they will value you the same. Sometimes the people you love the most, turn out to be the people you can trust the least. Nothing hurts more than being disappointed by the single person you thought would never hurt you.

It’s a new day. Try not to stress over that shady friend, co-worker, lover, staff or boss who betrayed you. Sometimes, instead of being hurt, you should look at betrayal as a gift. It makes it much easier to sweep them up and toss them out with the rest of the trash. Because when trash starts to stink… it has no more value in your life“, he wrote.
