Atiku Vs US: This Is A Rehash Of Old False Stories – Atiku

Former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar has reportedly reacted to the money movement allegations laid against him by the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN), an agency  of the Department of Treasury, leading to the placement of he and his wives under international bank surveillance.
The FinCEN, in a new investigation by the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists, BuzzFeed and 108 media partners across the world, including PREMIUM TIMES, levelled a fresh insight into how huge funds linked to Atiku may have been moved across international jurisdictions using shell companies.Reacting to the allegations, Atiku  described the allegations as a rehash of old false stories. His spokesman, Paul Ibe, in a telephone conversation with Daily Trust, reportedly said that the events detailed in the reports are not in any way indicting the former VP an at such, assuming one will be utterly absurd and ridiculous.

“The sequence of events as reported in the story did not make any indictment. Consequently, it’ll be preposterous to assume one.
