Bayern Munich coach Hansi Flick says despite how grim things might look for his team, he is determined against all odds to keep David Alaba and Thiago Alcantara who has been linked with a possible move to Liverpool.
Speaking after the team’s win over Bayern Leverkusen on Saturday in the German Cup final, the coach said, “I will do everything I can to ensure that we can keep two such quality players.”
“I’m trying to keep the squad together as it is at the moment.”
Media reports have said Alcantara has been linked with a move to Liverpool, but Bayern Munich chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge says there is yet to be an official letter to the statement.

“We have negotiated with him seriously and granted all his wishes, but it looks like he wants to do something new at the end of his career.”
Flick however, hopes to persuade the midfielder to remain with the club, “I’ll do my best to make sure he stays.”
