Basketmouth’s wife Elsie Okpocha has taken to social media to share the touching birth story of her 3rd child Maya as they officially introduced her to friends and fans on social media today. The wife of the comedian shared cute snaps of her adorable bundle of joy and noted that God didn’t let the Devil win as he gave her a healthy baby despite everything that happened.
In a lengthy post on her Instagram page, she narrated how 2 hospitals rejected her while she was in labour because she hadn’t done antenatal with them and it was an emergency case. Elsie shared that she had a Cord Prolapse when the cord comes out of the uterus before the baby and when this happens, it can result in a loss of oxygen to the baby, and may even result in a stillbirth. She was eventually set up for a caesarian section and she welcomed a happy and healthy baby.
