Ace Comedian Basketmouth has come out to educate Nigerians who are burning down the offices of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in the South East. Over the last few weeks, several electoral offices have been set ablaze in the region by unknown men.
Electoral offices in Ebonyi, Enugu, Akwa Ibom, and Abia states were set ablaze over the last few weeks and INEC has expressed concern over the destruction of its properties noting that it can affect the 2023 general elections. The comedian explained that the people are frustrated about the state of the nation but destructing the INEC office is not the solution to the problem. He explained that if the materials and offices of the electoral commission are destroyed elections cannot take place and the present leaders will spend a long time in power.
