Presidential media aide to President Buhari Bashir Ahmad has taken to social media to drag Senator Shehu Sani over his comment on the extension of Sunday Igboho’s detention in Cotonou by six months. The news broke earlier today and the Counsel for the detained activist, Chief Yomi Aliyu SAN confirmed the extended incarceration of his client.

Bashir AhmadShehu Sani took to Twitter to react to the news sharing that he has never supported Igboho’s separatist move and ideas but the extension of his detention is inhumane and condemnable. Bashir took to Twitter to fire the senator sharing that if he was that concerned he could head to Cotonou where Igboho is being held and mobilize on the street so his call could be heard rather than talk on Twitter. He said the Senator should go and take the streets in Cotonou.
