Barack Obama Sympathises With The People Of France In The Wake Of The Notre Dame Fire Incident

Former world president, Barack Obama has sympathized with the French with regards to the unfortunate fire incident at the monumental Notre Dame. The fire which began in the Afternoon yesterday, April 15th quickly spread to the 850- year old building. The responsive firefighters quickly gathered at the building trying to save what they can of the old structure. Many feared that the world may have lost countless and priceless artifacts of cultural and historic significance during the fire break out. Obama who shared a photo of himself and his family at the Notre Dame back in 2009 captioned the photo with: “Notre Dame is one of the world’s great treasures, and we’re thinking of the people of France in your time of grief. It’s in our nature to mourn when we see history lost – but it’s also in our nature to rebuild for tomorrow, as strong as we can.?” Photo Credit: Getty
