Singer Banky W has slammed the government over its decision to ask people to queue for their National Identity Number in the middle of a pandemic. The singer took to his Twitter page to react to the situation by sharing a photo of people at a registration centre in Lagos.
Banky mentioned that the decision was completely reckless and irresponsible seeing that the country was in the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic. He mentioned that the NCDC keeps releasing high infection numbers but forget that people cannot practise social distancing when going to places like this. The actor mentioned that the government needs to start making a smarter and better decision.

Over the last few weeks, social media has criticised government decision which asked Nigerians to queue to get their NIN number explaining that it was unsafe considering the pandemic in the country.
