Jada and Will Smith have been married since 1997 and as common with marriages, they had their ups and down times and had to separate, and now that they have decided to finally come back together, Jada had Will on her Facebook show Red Table Talk to catch up and open up to each other.
This is coming after rapper August revealed he and the actress had a thing and her hubby (though separated by then) gave him his blessing. Both Jada and Will denied the statement, with Jada explaining that only she could give such permission as she was separated from Will by then.
In the 9-minute video they put out to clear up speculation circulating in the media over August Alsina’s statement, they both spoke on their journey after the separation and Jada Pinkett owned up to having an entanglement with August. When Smith asked what she felt she was looking for in the interaction with Alsina about four-and-a-half years ago, she said, “I just wanted to feel good, it had been so long since I had felt good“, she said as her husband nodded sympathetically. As they discussed on, Pinkett said they had reached a place of unconditional love but Smith thinks he needs to get her back first. “I’m gonna get you back first“, he said, to which Jada laughed and responded, “I think you got me back! I think we’re good on that.” At the end of the chat, the pair fist-bumped, saying a quote derived from Smith’s Bad Boys movies. “25 years and counting… We ride together, we die together. Bad marriage for life.“
