While several members of her family have insulted her for not inviting members of her family for her royal wedding, Kensington palace has announced that the bride-to-be will walk down the aisle with her father like every other girl.
Meghan’s parents, Thomas Markle and Doria Ragland, will arrive in Britain few days before the wedding to “spend time” with Queen Elizabeth II and her husband Prince Philip.
Meghan’s parents will also meet Harry’s father, Prince Charles, ahead of the ceremony at St George’s Chapel in the grounds of Windsor Castle.
The Royal family confirmed the presence of Meghan’s family in a press statement, You can read their statement below:
“Both of the bride’s parents will have important roles in the wedding. On the morning of the wedding, Ms Ragland will travel with Ms Markle by car to Windsor Castle. Mr Markle will walk his daughter down the aisle.”
