Elections 2023: Atiku Leads Obi, Tinubu With Wide Margin In Kaduna

Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, has continued with his lead by trashing his opponents in Saturday’s presidential election in Kaduna State.

In the 16 Local Government Areas so far released by the Independent National Electoral Commission, Atiku maintained a comfortable lead.

The PDP presidential hopeful trashes the All Progressives Congress Tinubu and Labour Party’s Peter Obi with a wide margin.

So far, Atiku won in Giwa, Kauru, Lere, Ikara, Kagarko, Zaria, Sabon-Gari, Makarfi, Kaduna South.

The LP presidential hopeful won in six LGAs of Kaura, Kajuru, Jaba, Kachia, Jema’a and Zango-Kataf while the APC presidential candidate won in Sango LGA where the state Deputy Governor, Dr. Hadiza Balarabe hails from.

1. Giwa Local Government Area, Kaduna

Registered voters – 149,456

Valid votes – 46,435

Rejected Votes – 1,662

2. Kaura LGA(Kaduna)

Presidential
APC – 1,847

LP – 25,744

PDP – 7,847

Valid votes – 36,222

Rejected Votes – 694

Total votes cast- 36,916

3. Kajuru LGA(Kaduna)
