Eric Bandholz, the founder of Beardbrand and a YouTuber has stated that it is rude to tell guests to take off their shoes when they come visiting, this of course will not go down well with many Africans.
In a tweet he put out via his verified Twitter handle, Eric noted that guests should be made to feel at home whenever they visit.

“It’s rude to ask guests to take off shoes in your house. When you’re a guest, you should feel like you’re at home. I’ll clean up when you leave. If you want to take your shoes off, that’s also ok but not necessary“, he tweeted.
