Three-time Africa’s female footballer of the year, Asisat Oshoala, shared an emotional video of her father as he shed tears of joy while she received her CAF player of the year award this week.
Asisat took to Instagram to share the video on Saturday morning, with the caption “So my sisters just sent me this ????….For Y’all asking why i’m so emotional, think my Dad is more emotional ???…. Alhamdulilah for Almighty Allah’s blessing. Myself and my family are forever grateful ??????…. #FathersLove?????”
Asisat joined the league of legends on Thursday (4th of January), when she became the first ever Nigerian woman to win award three times in a row. The only West African woman that has ever won the award more than Asisat is the Legendary Perpetua Nkwocha.
