Arsene Wenger To Bayern Munich! Club Call Shock Press Conference

German champion Bayern Munich‘s top brass will reportedly hold a shock press conference on Friday as rumours mount Arsene Wenger is about to take over. The former Arsenal boss has been heavily linked with the German giants over recent days and appeared to give them the green light to approach him this week.According to Le Parisien Wenger, 68, told French media this week: “I’m ready to start working again … but not until January.” Now German publication Bild say Bayern president Uli Hoeness, chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic will all attend the press conference on Friday at 11am BST. The last time the trio held a joint media session was to announce Jupp Heynckes’ return a year ago. The veteran coach left the Bundesliga champions in the summer and was replaced by Niko Kovac. But he is under huge pressure after a poor start to the campaign left the Bavarians sitting sixth in the table. Despite only arriving from Eintracht Frankfurt several months ago there are already believed to be concerns he is unable to motivate Bayern’s ageing squad.Photo Credit: Getty
