While other celebrities are shielding actress Funke Akindele and her hubby JJC Skillz on their house party saga amidst the Coronavirus lockdown, controversial actress Amara Maduka thinks their arrest was necessary.
In a recent interview with KOKO TV, the plus-size actress and Instagram exhibitionist first sympathied with the couple, saying the situation is just so unfortunate for the mother of two as everyone would do the same for their husbands.
She, however, blamed the couple for shooting themselves in the leg by bringing the party to social media, which made their arrest necessary so it Nigerians won’t see the government as being partial in its dealings with the citizens. Amara Maduka noted further that despite the arrest was necessary, the dragging the actress most especially received on social media, was however, totally unnecessary, adding that social media users are just mean. “I think it’s unfortunate for her. I mean, it was her husband’s birthday and most of us would do same. However, where they shot themselves in the foot was posting it online. The arrest was necessary from my point of view else people would say the government was being partial because of her celebrity status. An arrest is not a conviction. The whole drag and cuss out was totally unnecessary. People are just so mean on the internet it’s so sad“, she told KOKO TV.
