The Nigerian Army has dismissed online reports that the Minister of Defence, Bashir Salihi Magashi, now moves around with an AK47 because of the heightened insecurity in the country. 
A video of a man armed with a rifle and entering a G-Wagon that was opened by a military escort, surfaced online last week, with online users thinking it was the Minister of Defence.

Reacting via its Facebook page, the Nigerian Army wrote;
”DISCLAIMER
The attention of the Nigerian Army has been drawn to a falsified Social Media post aimed at demeaning the Honorable Minister of Defence. The Army wishes to state that the person in the video is not the Honorable Minister of Defence.
