Ariana Grande suffered a major stage malfunction as she performed in Tampa, Florida on Sunday night.
The singer was strutting on stage when her boots gave way, and losing her balance, she landed on her knees. The fall shocked every member of the audience but the singer styled it up as she fell to the beat of her song and that got her an applause from the crowd.
Ariana Grande burst out laughing as she was helped up by one of her male dancers and placed back on stage. Addressing the crowd after her performance, the singer appreciated the crowd for making her feel loved after the fall. She noted that the fall had to happen as she’s not fallen in all of the 87 shows she’s attended. “Thank you for making me feel loved when I fell earlier. I had to fall. It’s been 87 shows and I haven’t fallen yet, so it had to happen”, she said.

Reacting to a video of her fall shared on Twitter by a tweep, she noted that things were going so well before she fell, adding that she is crying. “Oh my. at least I still made the button. I’m crying. things were going too well“, she commented.
