Veteran Nollywood actor and film producer, Ugezu J Ugezu has called on contemporary parents who were flogged ‘mercilessly’ by the older African parents who have now decider not to beat their own children and rather now treat them like ‘Oyibo’ children.
Ugezu who in his post, then went on to ask if the contemporary generations were being fair to their children by denying their own children of the African reality, which he described as ‘Manual labour’.

While some other people came in support of Ugezu’s question of denying children the ‘African Reality’, another lady said it is still sane to beat children in contemporary times as it helps to keep them in line and well behaved.
While some people agreed with his post, most didn’t and said as much in their comments.
