Society Doesn’t Support Single Moms – Venita Akpofure

Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Venita Akpofure has revealed that life as a divorcee and single mother of two is not very easy, as society tends to look down on you.

Speaking during one of the episodes of the Big Brother Naija Reunion show, the reality star said that fellow housemate, Tacha had said some unsavory things about her and her kids after she was evicted.

While she maintains that the words got to her, she said she choose not to address them and remains glad that Tacha has since apologized.

An emotional Venita Akpofure also spoke about how society enjoys casting stones at single mums, as she says there is rarely any form of support for them.

She however maintains that she’s “happily divorced 33 year old mother of two”.
