APC’s Osun State governorship primaries will no longer hold on Thursday!
The All Progressives Congress has announced the postponement of its governorship primary for Osun State slated to hold on Thursday, July 19. Director of Media and Strategy of the APC in Osun State, Kunle Oyatomi confirmed that the election will now hold on Friday, July 20, 2018.
APC in another a statement signed by their National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi on Wednesday night said a meeting between the Primary Election Committee chaired by H.E. Abdul’aziz Abubakar Yari, Governor of Zamafara State and stakeholders will instead hold at the Osun State capital, Oshogbo on Thursday. Last week, the National Chairman of APC, Adams Oshiomhole has disclosed that the party would adopt a direct primary to elect its candidate instead of the delegate system.
