The two major political parties in Nigeria, the People’s Democratic Party PDP and the All Progressive Congress APC have engaged in a hot and dirty fight on social media over a rally.
PDP and Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde had held a mega campaign rally at the State capital yesterday which saw a mammoth crowd attend. Among the PDP personalities present are Bode George, a former Vice Chairman of South West and Governor of Bayelsa, Duoye Diri.
This did not sit down with with many Nigerians and the party’s major opposition seized the opportunity to call out PDP, playing the saint before Nigerians’ eyes.
Replying, PDP reeled out how it had been the one advising President Buhari on the measures needed to be put in place in order to contain the deadly Coronavirus in Nigeria, accusing the APC-led administration of delaying in heeding to the advices and ideas.

With the energy both parties have put into dissing each other over the rally, one cannot but wonder their petiteness and what exactly both take Nigerians for.
