The drama in the All Progressive Congress APC thickens as the National Executive Council dissolves the party’s National Working Committee, and fixes the national convention for 6months.
This is coming after the National Secretariat , Abuja was sealed and some members including the National Secretary, Waziri Bulama were denied entry into the Secretariat by the Police.
Giving an update on the NEC meeting, President Buhari’s media aide took to Twitter to write, “The APC NEC has been concluded, the NWC dissolved, the Caretaker Committee emerged and the National Convention within six months. Here, VP Osinbajo leads governors and some party leaders to sing “Happy Birthday” song Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila (58) and Gov. Sanwo-Olu (55)“, he tweeted. Confirming the appointment, APC UK also took to its official Twitter handle to note that the Governor of Yobe State has been appointed that Caretaker Committee head.
The meeting was attended by President Buhari, Vice President Osinbajo, Giadom, Governor Sanwo-Olu, Femi Gbajabiamila and other leaders.
