Another Nollywood actor, Chikezie Uwazie has passed on days after news of actors, Saint Obi and Murphy Afolabi’s deaths made headlines.
It is indeed another loss for Nollywood as Actress Obey Etok Chima shared news of Uwazie’s death, The actor Chikezie Uwazie who became a known face in the Nigerian movie industry in the 2000s, died after a second brain surgery in the United State of America

His colleague Obey wrote; “I can’t imagine am posting this. Chikezie Uwazie goneeeee. After a 2nd brain surgery. Gini na emezi. Am so shocked to get this news this evening. Just got this from our IMSU alumni platform. I thought you told me you were going to the states for greener pastures. You promised to come back some years back but I didn’t see you. Can’t believe you are gone but God knows best. Rest on Chyko”

Uwazie who was known as one of the leading stars in Nollywood relocated to the United States Of America seven years ago, featured in movies like Musical Whispers,(a movie on Autism) Village Destroyer, Last Kiss, and many other movies. His death is the third one in three days after the death of Saint Obi and Murphy Afolabi
