Anonymous Hackers Threaten To Expose Minneapolis Police Department

Social media has been abuzz since the death of George Floyd by the Minneapolis Police Department on May 25, a move which recently brought the hactivist group, Anonymous, to the fore has they have threatened to expose the flaws of the department.

George FloydAnd those threats have come to reality with the MPD’s official website being hacked and taken offline on Saturday, May 30.

Although, Anonymous did not take responsibility for the act, a Twitter account which might be related to it states that the group was responsible for the action.

In a video, shared to social media, the group said “Sadly, in the vast majority of police killings, the only one left alive to tell the story is the officer who took the person’s life,” the Anonymous narrator says. “This travesty has gone on for far too long… and now the people have had enough.”AnonymousThe group is currently the spotlight of actions around the theme of revolution, as it has shared some disturbing secrets regarding U.S President, Donald Trump.
